Bruce Smelley
"Sixstring"
Bruce growing up in southern AL has always had a passion for music. Starting on drums, he was raised on classic rock and country, however he developed his own wide taste in genres. He later started being the frontman in some of the bands he formed with his school friends. From there he picked up a guitar and began his journey as a country singer, opening up for some of country music's biggest stars such as Clay Walker, Joe Nichols, Julie Roberts, Luke Combs, Sammy Kurshaw, The Cadillac Three, and many more. Over the Years Bruce also made a name for himself by winning the 2017 "Nappie Award" for "Best Country Band/Performer".
His Charisma and ability to make everyone feel like a part of his show created a buzz that everyone was talking about. Bruce's other passion is for his motorcycle and his brothers in the "Punishers" motorcycle club's local chapter where he was given the nickname "Sixstring". This is where Bruce helps give back to his community with fundraisers for charities and law enforcement. All these qualities Bruce shows on stage with the Bruce Smelley Band consisting of some of the south's top musicians, traveling across the country playing a wide range of headliners, festivals, support, private events, and different venues. Bruce will continue to grind hoping to one day be backed by a team that can take him to the next level.
